Admin issues fresh fixation of rates of poultry and poultry products, in J&K
Srinagar, 30 Dec (KB): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir Food, Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs Kashmir, on Friday issued fresh fixation of rates of poultry products in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an official order issued by the Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies and ConsumersAffairs Kashmir, a copy of which is in possession of Kashmir Bulletin–(KB) reads that, in supersession of all previous notifications issued on the subject and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Essential Commodities Act, 1955; I, Dr. Abdul Salam Mir, Director – Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, Kashmir hereby revise and re-fix the maximum rate of poultry and poultry products as under.
“Broiler (Live) per Kg. = Rs.125/- (Rupees one hundred twenty-five only), Parent (Live) per Kg.= Rs.120/- (Rupees one hundred twenty only) and Egg (Per dozen)= Rs.72/- (Rupees seventy-two only).”
“This notification shall have immediate effect. Besides, the wholesale dealers are directed to issue proper invoice (printed) on spot for each transaction in favour of the retail buyers explicitly indicating therein the rate per Kilogram/Dozen for each item,” it reads. (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
