Schools closed today due to bad weather; limited classes in select areas.

Kishtwar, April 18: Authorities in District Kishtwar have ordered the closure of all government and private schools across the district for today due to adverse weather conditions.

According to an official order issued by the Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, the decision has been taken in view of continuous heavy rainfall, slippery road conditions, and the risk of shooting stones, which could pose a serious threat to the safety of students and staff.

However, the order states that schools located within Kishtwar City, from Malipeth to Cherhar, will remain open for students of Class 6th and above only.

The directive has been issued following instructions from the District Administration to ensure precautionary measures amid prevailing weather conditions.
