Srinagar, July 27: Kashmir Bulletin has issued a public clarification distancing itself from a social media page allegedly operating under its name, stating that the page is fake and has no connection with the organization.
In a statement, Kashmir Bulletin said that a page titled "Kashmir Bulletin" has recently appeared on social media platforms and is being presented as an official account. The organization clarified that it is not associated with the page in any manner.
The statement further noted that Kashmir Bulletin's official Facebook page and Instagram account were previously withheld in India and, as a result, the organization is currently not operating any social media pages or accounts.
"Any content, posts, messages, or activities being carried out under the name 'Kashmir Bulletin' are not associated with us," the statement said.
Kashmir Bulletin has urged its followers and the general public to remain cautious and avoid relying on information shared through unauthorized accounts claiming to represent the organization.
The organization also stated that any official announcements or updates will be communicated through its verified channels once access to them is restored.
Kashmir Bulletin thanked its supporters for their understanding and cooperation while reiterating its commitment to providing authentic and reliable information through official platforms.
