Jammu, May 01 (KB): An army personnel was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Satwari area of Jammu district on Friday morning.
An official told that at around 0600 hours, information was received that a soldier was found injured with a bullet wound to his head inside a room.
He was immediately shifted to Military Hospital Satwari, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, the official said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and inquest proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the circumstances leading to his death.
