20-year-old worker suffers electric shock during duty in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 16 : A labourer sustained an electric shock while working in the Zewan area of Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.

An official told that Asrar (20), son of Hashmat Ullah and a resident of Salamabad Uri, was working as a labourer with Green Globe Electric Company when he received an electric shock while painting an electric pole at Zewan.

He was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital in an unconscious state for treatment.

However, officials said that his condition is stable at present. Further details are awaited. (KB)
