Srinagar, Apr 16 (KB): A 9-year-old boy was critically injured in a road traffic accident in Awantipora area of south Kashmir on Thursday.
Officials told the injured boy, identified as Luqman, and a resident of Ghot Mollah Awantipora, was initially taken to PHC Awantipora and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.
As per family members, the boy was riding a bicycle when he was hit by an unidentified tipper, resulting in multiple injuries.
Hospital sources said that his condition is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.(KB)
